Hi my name is Matt Hart. I have peti-mal seizures. I got them from encephalitis when i was 5. It almost killed me. so, i suppose I'm luck to be alive. I have hoped for years that a cure for me would happen in my life time. I have not found it yet. It takes quite a toll on my life as far as the things I can do such as drive a car. I was able to once then after awhile things got worse and i couldn't so i stopped. I had to get my meds raised I can't stand not being able to drive. .Especially because I like cars quite a bit. I like looking at all the old muscle cars and trying to keep up with new ones.I have no short term memory to speak of. I'll lose thought of something in less than a minute. I have know idea what its like to be with out epilepsy. I do not remember anything before I was 5. I don't guess many people do though. I just remember bits and pieces of being in a hospital with an oxygen tent around my bed. I know that i was in a coma for awhile can't remember how long. I was told once. I hate asking for rides. But, I just deal with it for now.
